man. watching gossip girl made me think about the materialistic society. everyone wants to be rich. to me? there are two types of rich.
the really rich people. i mean everyone can testify. some people in mg are such bitches and everyone knows. even their so called friends bitch about them. we dont see them stop hanging out with these rich people. no point even warning the rich people about their superficial friends. all you get is just a confrontation by them to their friends. and with their friends saying "no i didnt" there we go. you lied. this is one type of rich. i dont wanna be. seriously.
im happy being. rich enough. you know. like. the type where you can just freely buy stuff that you really need. not going on a shopping spree. but buying really nice stuff you really wanted. and to live a happy life. really rich people would find this life a poor life. ever tried living mine? where you have to actually plan before buying stuff. whether you'd have enough balance for an emergency situation. having your parents worry over money issues and make you feel bad. whats that for you now.
looking at how two people two worlds apart can cross [dan and serena] plus they're fantastically appealing. anyway. back to my point. i think its really nice how serena can like. pay for the stuff on her date without telling dan and stuff. and you know. like. not acting all princessy. enjoying HIS lifestyle. obviously. we all know that doesnt happen in real life. how often do you have bitchy rich people not prick it in your face that they're rich and you're not. how often do you have them actually think about your situation. how often do you have people better-off in terms of finance and not consider your financial situation. asking you to go to rich places where you cant deny and stuff.
I WOULD LIKE TO SAY THAT IM NOT AGAINST RICH PEOPLE. IM ONLY AGAINST THE FACT THAT CERTAIN RICH PEOPLE LIKE TO BE JACKASSES. AND THE SHOW IS REALLY NICE. ITS SHOWING SUCH A WANTED CINDERELLA LIKE STORYLINE. WHERE MONEY DOESNT MATTER.
p.s. serena is hot. i swear. in episode 6 you'll see. haha.
